All major league/website changes will be posted for members here.

1AdminEffective immediately, we will be keeping track of each member's attendance percentage (number of races a member attends compared to the number of races they have signed up for. Attending 7 of 10 races in a season = 70%). We ask that members maintain above 30%. The addition of this statistic will help members choose teammates more wisely; especially for the GSREC.
We have also decided to get rid of the ranking system which has existed for the past few years. It served it's purpose well for a long time, but has become largely useless, perhaps even a hindrance in recent months. New members will still be required to make their debut in an "Amateur" (formerly Level 1) series race. Level 2 series are now known as "Professional".

1AdminMembers who have not logged onto the website in 6 months will be removed, and members who have not signed in for 3 months will have their driver numbers reset to 0. Basically simply sign in and you're all set for 2019! :)

Beginning in April, we will begin racing on Forza Motorsport 7 in addition to Project CARS 2.

1AdminThis notice isn't meant to point fingers, place blame or be taken as a threat; it's just the facts.
Attendance in our races has been steadily on the decline for the better part of the past year or so. It's been so low that at times we've had to cancel/postpone races and has made us (admins) question the long term sustainability of Global Sim Racing as a whole.
Racing with grids of a handful of people isn't fun for anyone. In many ways the three upcoming series (PC Super Series, PC British Formula Ford & FM MX-5 Cup) are very much a make or break for GSR, so we really hope our members will consider entering any combination of the series and help us make our racing exciting, competitive and FUN again.
Hope to see as many of you as possible on the track. :)
