Series Description

The CAM is a series dedicated to the raw power of American Muscle! Cars from the period of 1969 to 1971 will be pitted agains one another in this series.  Drivers with a Safety ranking of 2 or higher may enter this series.

This series will be run on Forza Motorsport 5 on the Xbox One.

Regulations

Technical Regulations

- All competitors will run the 1971 AMC Javelin, the 1970 Camaro Z-28, the 1970 Challenger RT, the 1969 Mustang Boss 302, the 1969 Pontiac Trans Am or the 1971 Plymouth Cuda.

Sporting Regulations

- This championship will be run individally with no teams.

- Driver number must be displayed on a drivers car.

- Only cockpit view will be allowed.

- TCS, ABS, STM are not allowed.

- Simulation/Normal steering allowed

- Manual w/clutch allowed

- Braking line is forced off

- There will be no full-course caution periods.

- There will be no pace car in use in this series

- There will be no restarts during a race unless lag causes a multi-car accident in the first two laps. 

-There will be no qualifying

-There are no mandatory pit stops

-All races will begin with a standing start 

Points

Points – Points will be awarded at the end of a race, you will accumulate points towards the driver standings and manufacturer championship dependent upon your finishing position in each race.

Points Awarded

Below are the finishing race positions and corresponding points allocations for the driver.

*1 point will be awarded to the driver who scores the fastest clean lap of the race

4th. - 17
5th. - 16
6th. - 15
7th. - 14
8th. - 13
9th. - 12
10th. - 11
11th. - 10
12th. - 9
13th. - 8
14th. - 7
15th. - 6

Cars / Upgrades

The cars for this series are the 1971 AMC Javelin, the 1970 Camaro Z-28, the 1970 Challenger RT, the 1969 Mustang Boss 302, the 1969 Pontiac Trans Am and the 1971 Plymouth Cuda.

Upgrade Parts:

Do Not Install Any Parts That are Not Listed. 

Tuning is allowed for this series and is encouraged. 

Paint

Drivers must include their driver number on their paint, other than this the paiint for this series is open to be as simple/complicated as the driver wishes. Howevew, realistic paints for the era are encouraged but are not mandatory.  Offensive/graphic images will not be permitted on a paint.

Reporting Of Race Incidents

Reporting Of Race Incidents – All incidents must be reported directly after the race and not during the race. Race incidents will not be discussed during the race and all replays must be saved by the driver making the complaint because if there is a lag which caused the incident then it will not be visible by somebody else’s replay.

The replay/replays will be reviewed by the administrators and a decision will be made as to whether or not anyone is to blame and if a penalty should be given to any or both drivers.
