Series Description
The 1970 Formula One Championship season saw 4 different winners
in 8 races with Mr Blonde claiming the World Drivers Championship.
Will he be able to defend his championship in 1972?
This season will see the Belgian Grand Prix move from Spa to
Zolder, the addition of the Spanish Grand Prix, and the 20.81 km
154 turn Nurburgring will be the site of the German Grand Prix.
Monaco, Rouen, Brands Hatch, Monza and Watkins Glen are all
retained from the 1970 season.
This series will be run on Project Cars on the Xbox One.
Regulations
Technical Regulations
- All competitors will run the 1972 Lotus 72D Cosworth.
Sporting Regulations
- This championship will be run with an indivual and team championship.
- Driver number must be displayed on a drivers car.
- Only cockpit view will be allowed.
- TCS, ABS, STM are not allowed.
- Simulation/Normal steering allowed
- Manual w/clutch allowed
- Braking line is forced off
- There will be no full-course caution periods.
- There will be no pace car in use in this series
- There will be no restarts during a race unless lag causes a multi-car accident in the first two laps.
- Standing Starts will be used
- Starting order will be decided by a 10 minute qualifying session
Points
Points – Points will be awarded at the end of a race, you will accumulate points towards the driver standings and manufacturer championship dependent upon your finishing position in each race.
Points Awarded
Below are the finishing race positions and corresponding points allocations for the driver.
*1 point will be awarded to the driver who scores the fastest clean lap of the race, the polesitter, and the driver who gains the most positions.

9th. - 16
10th. - 15

20th. - 5
21st. - 4
22nd. -3
23rd. - 2
24th. - 1
*24 cars to start the season will force a modified structure to be used.

1972 Lotus 72D Cosworth
Do Not Install Any Parts That are Not Listed.
Tuning is allowed for this series and is encouraged.
Paint
Pick any livery available in Project Cars. The #1 will be
reserved for Mr Blonde V as the defending champion.
Reporting Of Race Incidents
Reporting Of Race Incidents – All incidents must be reported directly after the race and not during the race. Race incidents will not be discussed during the race and all replays must be saved by the driver making the complaint because if there is a lag which caused the incident then it will not be visible by somebody else’s replay.
The replay/replays will be reviewed by the administrators and a decision will be made as to whether or not anyone is to blame and if a penalty should be given to any or both drivers.
