Sporting Regulations

    The following assists are prohibited:

  • Braking/racing line
  • All other assists are legal.
  •   Cockpit view is mandatory.

  •  -Auto/Manual Gearbox(No Manual w/clutch)

  • The race will began under a NASCAR-style, two-wide rolling start controlled by the leader, as decided by a random grid order. All odd-numbered grid positions will take the inside of the track, and all even-numbered grid positions will take the outside. The leader is to control the pace of the field, but cannot run above 80 mph on the pace lap.

  • All races will be run with simulation damage.

  • There will be no full-course caution periods.

  • Competitors must run the mandatory GSR number plate with their corresponding gamertag and number on the left and right sides, and roof of the vehicle. A design will be provided with the number plate in the correct location, as well as a sponsor and color requested by the driver. As such, the design cannot be modified once the driver receives it.

- There will be 1 mandatory pit stop taken during each race no earlier than the 3rd lap and no later than the 2nd last lap. -

Starting the Race

-There will be no restarts at the beginning of a race unless lag causes a multi-car accident in the first two laps. This seems strict, but we need to start doing races without restarts in order to guarantee that we can get clean racing in the future. As a result, please do not be overly-ambitious in the first portion of the race. You will not win the race in the first corner, and you are not going to get a restart simply for an early mistake.

-For the rolling start of the race, the leader will not be allowed to exceed more than 50 mph on the warm up lap. The field will bunch up to around 40 or 50 mph for the start of the race, with the specific pace and countdown done by the randomly-determined leader.

-You cannot change your position on the warm up lap, even if it is to a position farther back on the grid.

-During the warm up lap, give the car ahead a decent amount of space at all times to ensure that a crash does not occur, and try not to use the brakes so that a sudden traffic jam does not occur. Even when the field does bunch at the end of the warm up lap, try to give the car in front of you around 1 car length of space.
