And Schubeedoo has 8% trans damage on the first lap. Why was he not disqualified?

Okay, Schubee sent me his replay today and intriguingly, his car had no transmission damage when he shifted. Charger's car still did, but I imagine that his replay wouldn't have shown damage either. In any case, this indicates that there must have been something very wrong in the lobby, given that the transmission damage was inconsistent between replays. It seems like neither used the clutch.

Based on this, I first want to apologize to both of you for the controversy here. Please understand that we have never had this issue before, so this type of inconsistency was impossible to see beforehand. Until now, we never had the system fail. Anyway, I think that from now on, everyone needs to save their replays given the importance of Schubee's replay in this. Personally, I think the results of the race should probably be thrown out entirely, given that the lobby must have been very screwed up for this to happen, but we'll figure that out soon.

After reviewing all available replays, we have unanimously decided that there will be no penalties given for round 2 at Camino. All GSR admins would like to apologize for any confusion. A full statement, official final round 2 standings as well as an update to the review policy will be posted on the website soon.

why not allow man with clutch. no tc and sim is a bitch for a lot of us which I am trying to use. you got such a good thing going . there will always be winers or is that winners.

Well done on the win Done, gutted I couldn't make the race... After practising Friday night I was managing 41.8's pretty consistently too :(
Game on for the Mazda's tomorrow - it seems ages since I was in a lobby :)

Congrats on the win, Don! It didn't take you long at all to get used to this oval racing stuff. lol. Super disappointed about that damn lag spike though. (Sorry for getting you caught up in that Clyde) It was really looking like Don, Green and I were heading for a wild finish too. Hopefully I can get you guys at Indianapolis!

Just an early reminder that round 4 of this series is this Saturday (17th) at Indianapolis Motor Speedway at our usual time. I'm really excited to FINALLY getting an official race in at my favorite track in the world! Let's hope I don't crash in Turn 1! haha

I'll have a practice lobby open from 2pm eastern/7pm gmt until qualifying begins.

A couple things to note about IMS:

1. While the inside line through the turns is fastest, beware of touching the grass...it's sticky.

2. If you need to use the pits during the race beware during your exit that it's all sticky...well done Turn 10.

It's okay if you stick to the pit exit and enter the track between turns 1 and 2!

That was some awesome racing this past Saturday! Those first 6 laps were a blast swapping the lead multiple times with Clyde and Charger while the British hooligans and other fine folks were chasing the 3 of us down while going 3 and 4 wide at times. lol.

Then on lap 7 it all went to shit for me...I seem to be making it a habit of pissing away chances to finish well in this series. :(

Interesting thing to note about the incident on lap 7 is that there were actually 2 separate crashes that happened in the same turn at the exact same time; the first was when I got into the back of Clyde at 7:51.5, and the second was Schubee and Colton touching and then going for a bit of a ride at 7:51.7

I had originally assumed that Clyde and I had caused Schubee and Colton to be taken out but I guess I was mistaken. Anyway it was a bizarre incident and kind of a fun replay to watch.

REMINDER: Round 5 of the Legends Car championship is TODAY at Motegi Speedway. A practice lobby will be open at 2:00pm eastern/7:00pm gmt, followed by qualifying at 3:00pm eastern/8:00pm gmt. The green flag will drop at 20 after.
