2016 Global Endurance Championship (Open Rank FM + PC)

GSREC is back after a long absence for it’s second season! This series will be held on both Forza Motorsport 6 and Project Cars, allowing for a true crown jewel of endurance racing. Start times are to be determined.

20-Feb-16 Daytona Sports Car Circuit – 12 Hours – FM6
16-Apr-16 Sebring Full – 6 Hours – FM6
11-Jun-16 Le Mans – 12 Hours – PC
20-Aug-16 Spa-Francorchamps – 6 Hours – PC
8-Oct-16 Nurburgring GP – 6 Hours – PC
17-Dec-16 Road Atlanta – 6 Hours – FM6

If it matters, I think there was like 4000 feet between 1st and 2nd in Prototype.

Dear Santa,
For Christmas all K-motorsports need is a game that actual works, not one the kicks the race leaders, actually throw in a slice of humble pie by the sound of it as well. As well as good Australian interent.
If Santa is to lazy being filled up on beer and cookies, just sever Blonde's and SamKel's interent for stint 5, that start of stint. Get up you imaginary fat old man and just do it. If I was you, throw in some anger management pills as well.

Much like real endurance racing the faster Toyotas had issues today well the Audi was flawless. Congrats on the win guys, that GT battle looked really close as well. This was a lot of fun still, look forward to the next one.

Yes, because that comment helps a fellow GSR member out....

nSmokez, the cars all have their strengths and weaknesses, and tuning them properly can highlight those strengths. The driver is still a big part, though. We could have put Nightmare in a Prius today, and he would have tuned the shit out of it and still been competitive; at least according to the commercials Toyota puts out. Idk if there are really any balancing issues with the field we have, do you have any examples?

Different cars are going to benefit at different tracks, too. From what I heard, the Audi was better in the turns, which means it may be better off at Road Atlanta and parts of Sebring, but not at tracks with super long straights like Daytona.

Just wanted to say, mad props to everyone today. Simply getting through any amount of the endurance is a feat. Even more so for the guys going solo. The last race with Blonde, BCK, and Samson dicing it up was fun to watch, and the crazy back and forth of the GT3's all day was amazing. Literally came down to the last stint. It was real endurance racing where anything could happen. I had an absolute blast today. Or translated in the words of Charger. You all suck and Samson needs to pit.
