January 22nd - Sebring - Round 2

February 5th - Road Atlanta - Round 3

February 19th - Long Beach - Round 4

March 5th - Laguna Seca - Round 5

March 19th - Watkins Glen - Round 6 (Short Alt)

April 2nd -Lime Rock (Full)

April 16th - Road America

*Races will be 1 hour long

*Races will begin at 12:00 eastern / 17:00 gmt

The Canadian-American Challenge Cup (Can-Am) only lasted 9 seasons (1966-1974), but while they raced it was the pinnacle of motorsport technology. The Can-Am pushed the limits of engineering. Advances were made in aerodynamics, turbocharging, and the use of materials such as fibreglass, aluminium, and titanium. That is until a gas crisis, rules makers, and the increasing cost of new technology ended it.

First Capital Autosport is currently in talks with a major sponsor which would allow us to afford one of the brand new '69 models for the upcoming season.

will be there on the LOLA or CHAPARRAL. there are a significant diference on the tyres they have, choice will be made once I can tame them.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Daytona, FL - Raptor Racing is pleased to announce that the Sun Oil Company (Sunoco) has signed a late deal to become the title sponsor of the #71 Lola T163 for the 1969 Can-Am season. While financial details will not be disclosed, this deal will hopefully enable Raptor Racing to compete among the upper echelon of Can-Am racing.

"Sunoco is a natural fit with our team and we both demand a high level of performance in our respective disciplines" said Raptor Racing management. "While we know that it will be a tall order to compete with the McLaren's, this deal will make it all the more possible to run up front this season"
