"I'd say with the money they made from the first game that they'd be able to afford the licensing for the ovals that were left out. (Daytona, Charlotte, Dover, Bristol, Richmond and Indy). There was also that rumored Indycar expansion that was suppose to be released last year that never happened so maybe that will make it into the next game as well. I believe it was going to include Barber and Mid-Ohio."

Have no idea the validity of this, but as I was reading the thread where this news was posted on the PC forums, someone mentioned the tire and suspension models was the big hold up of ovals in the game. Who knows though as if memory serves, it was promised long ago but not delivered.

I read that but I remember reading the AI was really bad on ovals. Kinda like Forza AI they are so slow and brake in the middle of turns and they would crash a lot

I'd like to see a developer have the balls to make a console game that's online only; no AI. (iRacing etc)

Initial response after hearing the announcement = "meh"

Response after watching the teaser video = skid marks!!!

Ice & rally look awesome!!!

PCARS2 seems to have leap frogged FM in terms of racing content+diversity and matched GT series.

I'm very excited for this (whenever it comes out), but for whatever reason this video didn't really do much for me...probably because it didn't know any (real) tracks that will be new to the GSR repertoire. I'm sure future videos and information will ring my chimes far more.

That weather did look great though...notice the puddling as the rain continued?
