Why wasn't there a restart?

No restarts in GSR. Accidents are an unfortunate part of racing.

Where were the quick reactions to avoid the stalled car? I'd expect maybe 4 cars to pile into the back of him in a full 16 car field but not with only 8 racing! Always gotta be on the lookout! :)

Aaah, fair enough! Exactly, it's easy enough to do, especially at the very start of the race! Hopefully everyone manages to gain something from it (even if it's just slightly offsetting yourself from the car in front as soon as you start moving to make avoidance easier)! All in all I'm sure it could've been a much worse incident, and at least it wasn't in the early stages of an endurance event!

I just want to apologize to everyone who was involved in this accident. I was struggling getting the car off the line all week and I thought I had it figured out in the warm up lobby and I guess I didn't. I think the worst part of this whole incident was that I didn't even receive any damage when my transmission and engine should have been completely destroyed. I guess that is just extreme luck. I also want to apologize for having my mic muted at the start so I couldn't warn everyone behind me sooner.
